Artist Griet Menschaert is performing in front of a drawing she had finished right before this 'act'. The drawing had originally been made on the floor, with pencils only, not having a fixed visual overview because the paper measures 270x240cm. Griet was IN the drawing while she was making it. By putting the work on the wall, it becomes more autonomous. But by staging herself in front of it again, watching the viewer who is watching her and her (video) presence, the drawing turns out rather to be a 'decor', a stage, a reflection.
